Tutorial: manga body 1

Description

EDIT: a person told me that some things on my tutorials are very similar to Denise Akemi's (a great brazilian manga artist) method (once published on magazines that were among my first manga drawing guides). I myself didn't realize there were so many points in common, but I'm thankful they did! If anyone knows Akemi's account/site/blog/etc (or if you actually know her) can u plz notify me in order to add proper credits? Thanks a million!

Another tutorial, body (1stpart, here's the 2nd one [link]), this time... I'm sure Michelangelo would do it MUCH better than I did, but whatever... :XD:
I'm really sorry about the errors I commited with the ink (specially in smaller regions such as eyes, hands, feet)!!! :cries: I promisse I'll do a better job when I make the digital versions! But I do have to finish those traditional ones really soon :surrender:...

Well, here's a link for my "manga eyes tutorial" [link] , one for my "manga nose and mouth tutorial" [link] , one for my "manga ears tutorial" [link] and finally one for my "manga hair tutorial" [link])
Sorry, people... Portuguese only ... :(

It was not done specifically to dA, it's part of a "pocketbook" my friend :iconkitejeff: and I are creating to use as a "manga drawing" ref guide to the people who are going to attend the manga workshop we're gonna present in August at Unicamp (on the event the college is holding in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the japanese immigration to Brazil).

Whatever, both because I have to share my work with :iconkitejeff: and vice versa and because I thought it could be interesting to someone, I decided to post it here :)!

We've decided to do everything traditionally and simplified, so that we could cause the sensation that it's not something "professional" (1st because we aren't ^^;, 2nd because we can't scare the beginners with too many details, digital work techniques and perfect drawings :o). That means this tutorial was made with mechanical pencil (sketch) and ink... but the ink part was not my idea! I'd prefer pencil, of course... I dunno how to work well with ink :XD:!

Nya... that's it, I guess! Hope ya all enjoy the "step by step" I (should!) use on my pieces.... =P
